Something for jared to think about when making harnesses.
I was thinking recently after having to remove my manifold and it would make it so much easier if the injectors had a plug for both sides. That way when removing the manifold you would just unplug each bank of injectors and not have to remove every single little clip on the injectors.
just a thought was wondering how everyone else thought about it? |

Re: Something for jared to think about when making harnesses.
I'm planning on doing the plug on the injector harness, when I make my harness, but my thought was it would make it easier to switch from the truck style injector plugs, to the older more commen ones, if I decide to eliminate the truck intake, for an F-body style one. I figure just justing the same connector as the coil pack interconnect and reversing the halfs, so you can't plug it in wrong. I figure it way lay on top of the ciol pack connector nicely. As far as Jared ding it, it would add cost to his harness, since he not only has to pay for the connector bodies, terminals and seals, he'd have the labor installing 20 more terminal and most likely couple of splices. I don't think most people would want to pay it, where in my case, all that labor is free. By the way, I don't think there would be an issue with the reliabilty, the connectors GM uses there are pretty solid performers. |

some of the older north*'s have a nice connector for that. the weather pack connector is a very good connector, shouldnt be a weak link at all
