Sorry guys, I call it an LS1 because every one understands that. Most people dont understand LM7 they dont know what it is.

The tires were not spinning. The camera shows the speed after i let off and coasted for a bit.

i think i've seen other posts about your car but didn't realize that it was the 5.3l what have you done with it? I have my car down to the frame right now and i should be picking the motor up next saterday.

Its going to be my daily and i'm either doing Nitrous or Cam, i'm leaning towards the cam and then doing nitrous later on. When you did your cam instal did you do pushrods and rockers or just cam?

The cool thing about 5.3L is that you can picke em up fro $1200 with everything... PCM, harness, injectors, MAF, Fuel pump, etc!! Because there are so many of them. Ive also seen the aluminum block for them on ebay for $400 brand new

Yeah definitely don't post that you have an LS1 if you only have a 5.3. I don't care if they are the same family or not the LS1 is a totally different motor. You did a great job for sure on that 5.3 but you are just misleading people into thinking you have one thing when you truthfully don't have what you mentioned!

I would also like to have a 5.3 in my truck!! Hell any V8 from 1993+ is better than any 4.3.

I did not say a Z06??? 75-100Hp where do you get that number??? Your missleading people. LM7 is rated at 285 - 295 Ls1 could be 325 or 345 where do you get 75-100HP?

Because the 5.3 has varied in HP from 245-300hp through the years! I have no idea which one you have I just stated the least hp option from the 5.3. The LS1 has 345hp.

You can just easily say I have a 5.3 in my truck. Everyone will know what that is. Also the difference between the 5.3 and the LS1 is about 75-100hp. Big difference in those motors.

Your missleading people. LM7 is rated at 285 - 295 Ls1 could be 325 or 345 where do you get 75-100HP?

I have no idea which one you have I just stated the least hp option from the 5.3. The LS1 has 345hp.
