well its probly long over due, but its been a long project so far, so i didn't want to start a thread till i was nearing completion.
my truck i started with a 1999 sonoma sls 2.2l 5 speed ex. cab, which i bought in high school. i added a large stereo to it a month after i bought it. SoundStream SPLX15 2500watts rms, 2 SoundStream michelangelo 700D amps, SoundStream LOS 6.5 mid/tweets, Valor multimedia 7" flip/for touch screen deck, sub box is a velocitized ported 1"mdf dadoed.
Oct 7, 2007 the 2.2 desides to throw a rod bearing on the highway, this when i deside to do the swap.
My swap is as follows; 5.3l with vette acccessories and 4l60e trans, currently rearend is 4.10 non posi haha. i plan to run this set up for a while and work out any bugs then possibly build a 6.0l and maybe turbo.
p.s. i'm keeping the stereo.

update! it runs and moves... took it for a lil burn tonight tranny night be bad or still working out some air . it was an awesome experence.. hope to get exhaust done tommorrow and will post some vids

i sure did, i think my friends enjoyed it more, main because i was listening for any bad sounds and worries about leaks, and the fact that the tranny slips(could be low on fluid tho)
