Sanderson 1-5/8" shorty headers.

Just thought I'd share...


I spoke to them about making a few minor changes to the Dr. Side header to get some more clearance. I think if they switch the placement of tubes 1 and 3 in the collector, that might give more clearance for the steering shaft.

Said they'd do it on the next run of headers for 1 set and send it to me to test fit. Would probably be a good change to both sizes.

My 2.8 rubber mounts are starting to sag so now under heavy throttle I can feel the header hitting the steering shaft. If a revised one comes out I will get it for sure. Either that or just go poly mounts

i agree with mr. spree, i didnt haev any clearance issues with my headers, same size/brand with the steering shaft. Only thing i had was wthe trimming of the UCAs.
