Now S10-den...here is the fual system info you asked for. I used a Walbro 255 in tank...through the factory fuel filter...then under the cab it switched from factory hardline to -6an line...then to the Aeromotive regulator...then to fuel rail..and back to return under cab back to factory return line. the EVAP line is from stock hardline location with a rubber hose to the EVAP purge solenoid on the motor.

I also used the stock Fbody alt and ps pump...just modified them to fit the corvetter bracket and spaced it out 3/4" to make it work.

As for everything else...Used 98 fbody coolant temp sensor in pass head to make factory s10 gauge read....since the factory oil pressure sending unit was broke...i used the base of it drilled out to accept the stock S10 one so the oil pressure gauge works fine. i cant think of anything else.

OOO for the intake...i used an intakehoses.com 90* 4" to 3.5" reducer to my MAF then to a 3.5" aluminum pipe into my cone filter. Any other questions im here to help also.
Im will be using the stock 4.3 rad too. I see in the diagram that you used the JTR coupler, where did you run the steam vent hose? Do I have to have that steam vent hose or can I get by without it?

Re: ******PARTS LIST AND SWAP INFO FROM BLACK X****** LSX Swap.

You have to have the steam vent hose if you use ANY LS series motor...the coupler has a vent barb built into it. All you need to do is hook it from the vent from the motor to the barb on the JTR coupler...and steam vent taken care of...you can use the petcock on it also to purge the air out of the system...works great.

Re: ******PARTS LIST AND SWAP INFO FROM BLACK X****** LSX Swap.

Ok,Jhankinson,on that steam line,I know you have to let the air out of the system, looking at the pics,so water actually flows through it like on a normal system, right?I know it will be asked so there it is.On the evap line.I thought you could just leave the stock s10 line on the black canister, and then the line from the canister to the TB on the ls1?Thats what I'm doing on my 92...soon there will be enuff info about this swap to where it will be just as easy as doing a carb swap!just about is,if you study all the info out there.,EDIT:::: after reading again, thats what you did on the evap, right?

Re: ******PARTS LIST AND SWAP INFO FROM BLACK X****** LSX Swap.

Yes I just hooked the evap that was already on the truck...that came from the rear near the tank...to the tb EVAP on the LS1. As far as the steam vent goes yes...it works fine...as long as the vent part is higher than the heads...the air bubbles will naturally flow up...so it will vent out and be good. All it has to do is be in an area where water is flowing to help it push its way out. Hope all of it helps.

Re: ******PARTS LIST AND SWAP INFO FROM BLACK X****** LSX Swap.

You can see the EVAP hose in the pics I posted....its the black line with the little green cap on it about mid way...it hooks on one end to the EVAP solenoid which is on the driver side head...on the other end...it hooks to the stock hardline that runs from the fuel tank and charcoal canister. I dont have any pics of the steam vent hose...but its easy to picture. It runs from the crosover pipe that is just under the TB and hase a hose bard sticking off of it just to the driver side below the TB...on a stock setup it runs through a hose barb on the TB and back out the pass side...I bypassed my TB so it goes straight from the crossover pipe...to the hose barb on the JTR coupler. Hope this helps....if nobody posts any pics...I will try and snap some on saturday when I work on the truck next.

Re: ******PARTS LIST AND SWAP INFO FROM BLACK X****** LSX Swap.

It wasnt on their site when I got it either...i just called them and told them I wanted an LS1-S10 coupler...and they knew exactly what I was talking about. Its the one that has the hose barb and the petcock on it.

Re: ******PARTS LIST AND SWAP INFO FROM BLACK X****** LSX Swap.

What did you guys do for radiator hoses on the corvette radiator if you used it?

Did you guys just cap off the evaporator line out of the 3 fuel lines?

Re: ******PARTS LIST AND SWAP INFO FROM BLACK X****** LSX Swap.

Just thought of another question. What do I need to do to hook up the power steering lines? I was looking on my dads 6.0 (2000 silverado) that the lines of the pump go to his brake booster/master cylinder. So how do us LS guys need to run them?

Re: ******PARTS LIST AND SWAP INFO FROM BLACK X****** LSX Swap.

haha the fuel fittings arent too expensive...about usual price im guessing. i spent maybe 50 on all the fittings...as far as EVAP line..I used it..hell its there...why not. i didnt feel like dealing with taking it all out when all you have to do is plus a hose in. As far as the power steering went...since I used the corvetter bracket...i used a corvette power steering line...hooked right up...no issues at all. But have no idea about the truck stuff.

all 3/4 ton trucks(newer ones anyway) have the power steering running to the brake booster,AKA----hydra-boost.EDIT::::::On the evap,if you dont do something with it,you will be smelling gas fumes

bending and cutting.... Where did they hook up? did you have to use special fittings? I am trying to get as much details as possible for when I do mine.

Black, or anyone that used a 5.3L. Do you got pictures of the bellhousing you used? I'm looking to swap with the guy doing the shift kit since the stock s10 one doesn't have a high center bolt.
