Is that the package from CP? You take it for a drive yet? If so, how do you like it? Looks nice by the way.

No... to tell you the truth i would have loved to have bought jared's setup, it looks very well put together. I bought this about 2 weeks before his was even out, so i just missed it. This is the radiator the guy sells on ebay, its not direct fit had to modify the core support. I did buy jared's condenser so i'll post some pictures of that when i get it. The first drive with it will be tomorrow, i will be posting the finished product pics as well. I'm hoping i will be able to run my intake on the windshield side as well.

o and i'm going to do something about that haggard upper hose...

That sucks that you missed his sale. Did you pay about the same for this setup? lol I was going to ask you about that hose, but didn't feel like it.

radiator and fans was about 330 shipped off ebay. But i'm selling my flex a lite 210s so that should bring in 100 maby? So that offsets the cost to like 230ish.

Why are you selling your flexalites? Didnt they work well for you? What radiator did you have before?

That looks like a clean install. Do you have a link to that radiator?

I loved my flex a lites, but they hit the filler neck on this radiator. They actually work really good the only problem i ever had with them on a stock radiator was in over 110 heat on the highway for long periods of time (like 30+ min). Other then that it just ran at 210. I just got a PM for them, if you been following my build they only have like 15000 miles on them. Other then that the only problem was clearence.

Can you post a link to the Item in ebay? I bought one off of Ebay but it didn't look that beefy at all.

Re: My Weekend Project... Fix the cooling issue = fat radiator

Sorry i really didn't want to post before i got some driving time in. But it now runs 194-195 driving. It slowly rises to 210 if it even gets there then the fans kick on and bring it down fast.

Before it was 200 at least all the time. City the fans kicked on in seconds and took a long time to bring it down. And highway it was 210 if not higher.

I'm still working on the last bit of the upper hose and intake but i'll get some pictures.

I'm still amazed you were having problems. I can go all day with no issues on overheating and it runs cooler than my v6, with my 5.3L with a hotish cam. This is with just 210 flexlites and stock blazer radiator.

Well what i think the problem came down to is that i had a poopy rad. I hear people saying there stock radiators are 1.7 or so thick. Mine was like .75 inch thick at the core. And i had NO room at all in the front it was packed.

So it just seemed logical to get a bigger radiator.
