my engine is squeeling
I just cranked it the other day it was a brand new engine never been run i let it run for a few minutes then i changed the oil well i got the truck back together and drove it today did fine for a little while then started squeeling i took the belt off and the squeeling does not go away any idears would a bad cam bearing cause this anybody have any idears thanks i put about 30 miles on it 15 of them with it squeeling

Even at idle? If so it doesn't sound like a spun bearing or a bearing clearance issue. Try using a stethescope (sp) to pinpoint where the noise is coming from.

no i used regular val 10-30 started squeeling after maybe 5 miles i thought it was the belt so i kept ddriving i have put about 30 miles on it
