LT1 vs LS1

O.K. seeing if I could get some help from you engine swappers. Which is the better swap, and how much of a difference as far as the 2 engine's are concerened is it going to make? I know times are going to drop, but I'm looking for the more technically information. Which one is recommended more, and why? I know both have a decent amount of parts out there, but which one is going to be better off in the long run? Or which is going to have cheaper parts, and easier install for those parts? As far as gears goes for the 2 engines which is going to work best for either one? I will mostly be doing drag racing, and any help would be very benifical. Thanks

according to http://www.leeshightechtrucks.com/ and http://www.jagsthatrun.com/ the lt1 with corvette accesories is the easiest of the swaps(no cutting). my lt1 is on the stand just waiting for the warranty on the X to go out if you plan on doing serious drag racing(or more drag racing and less cruising), get the torch and welder handy and go with a big block and a blower:headbang:
