Re: lsx engines what stall you running

I'm using my stock 4.3 converter with the LSX flexplate modified to accept the 4.3 converter. Stock engine though.

Re: lsx engines what stall you running

I have a Boss Hog 2200-2800 that I bought from another member on here. I think it is a re-worked factory converter. I use to have a local guy who would build them, but I guess it didn't pay enough and he quit. I don't have it in yet and have already changed my setup, but it will help out more than a stock converter, I just don't think it is good for a turbo/N2o application, which will be in my later future. I will let everyone know how they hold up though, they are really well priced.......if it lasts. Normally I would have bought a high end converter, but for the price I thought I would take a chance since in my past I never broke the ones I had built. One of them was under N2o and boost, 75 shot off the line and 15# of boost on a 1.54' 60'.......I doubt it would last doing that on a consistent basis.

A good low cost converter for some one on a budget is a reman trailblazer unit for under $150.00
