LS1 T56 parts?

Anyone know where I can get an LS1 bellhousing and front plate (also called midplate) in the next couple days? Anyone got the stuff laying around?

I had a custom setup with an LT1 transmission and Weir Hot Rod bellhousing and throwout bearing, but the throwout bearing took a leak all over my clutch (orange brake fluid all over my dad's floor because of the Centerforce clutch, lol). I want to go to a more reliable setup that I can go get parts for if something breaks without needing to wait for custom stuff to be machined up.

I hear ya, but from my understanding, the input shaft is a different length. The only other option i know of is the McLeod nodular bellhousing. It's pricey, but you can use off the shelf parts with it.

I know, I ordered an input shaft already from a local place. They couldn't supply the midplate or bellhousing though...

Re: LS1 T56 parts?

when you swap them out, can you post up the measurements on the difference in length? I have a freind that is a pretty good machinist, and we were thinking about trying to make a front plate/bellhousing that you could put a regular B&B clutch in w/a hydraulic slave. The problem being the obvious lack of room to do so with the factory input shaft, without a foot-long pilot bearing.
