LS1 Harness!!!!

Sup guys, just wanted to tell yall that my harness came in yesterday. And that i have to give MAJOR PROPS to Jared @ Current Performance. This thing is a work of art and i cant wait until i have the engine mounted so i can run the wires. All the wires are serious automotive grade stuff, looks the of the same or superior quality that factory GM wiring. All the plugs and relays and fuses are perfect.

Some people may say its pricey, but Jared totally blows Painless out of the water on this harness. Everything is cleary labeled and i could almost swear that a 10 year old kid could plug it up to the computer and motor. If i EVER have another LS1 project, you can bet your money on who im going to give a call. Thanks a bunch Jared, i really appreciated doing business with you and you handled things like a true professional. Transaction went smoothly and i got my harness quickly after shipped. If anyone else is thinking about using Jared, you seriously wont regret it. I think im going to take a pic tomorrow and let his work speak for itself.

Re: LS1 Harness!!!!

I actually got off my butt and worked on it today. Got the front suspension stripped off the frame and im prepping it for steam cleaning. After a light scuff with some 180 it should be ready for some surfacer and sealer then some base/clear. I running a little tight on cash so the truck might end up running in some black sealer for a while, but as long as its not permanant i dont see anything wrong with the flat black look.

The enging bay is going to look soo clean with the wires coming out of the rear of the engine and going directly into the cab. The harness got my interests up again and i cant wait to get the truck running.

Re: LS1 Harness!!!!

a lot of money and a lot of time. i think i have 8k in mine. if you get al the parts ahead of time, i'd say it'll take you a couple weeks to a month. mine took 8 months but thats because i was at college and only got 2 weekends a month to work on it.

I'll second the time issue, mine has been in the making for probably 6 months now and still isnt even half way done. I've been slacking off alot though and hardly ever put hours into it because its just a side project. But as far as the engine swap in general ive probably got about 6 - 7 grand in it.
