I've got a factory Impala elbow that's hooked to the Mass air, which is then hooked to a roughly 90 deg. tube with a cone filter on the end.
I've seen metal elbows used, but they aren't quite as flexible as rubber Can cause clearance issues with radiator hoses and core support depending on setup. |
