Re: LQ9 for my s-10
Anyone know the vin letter for the lq9 off hand? I would like to find a lq9 for the flattop pistons and floating wristpin but I would like to know that I have the correct 6.0 punched into car parts dot com or lkq since I have one of their yards 3 miles from me. Is it "N"?
Thanks |

Re: LQ9 for my s-10
I was told my motor from lkq was a lq9. It was not. Ill check what my paperwork says so you will what not to get. After thinking about it I like the fact I can run 87 with no worries.

Re: LQ9 for my s-10
it may be N my 8th digit was U. Man I did not read this work order. iIt states 6.0 8th digit U option LQ4 in small print. I'm just going to build a 6.0 short block. I think I'm going to keep the cubes at 364 if I can. That way I can keep my 317 heads.
