Re: i didn't want to say it!!!

I was planning on buying a procharger for my truck but have changed my mind so I'll tell you what my plan was for intercooling. I didn't want anything in front of my radiator because Arizona is hot and its hard enough trying to keep the truck cool while the A/C is on. So my plan was to buy two small (Twin highflows) that procharger uses on their C5 corvette systems and put them behind the foglight holes in my bumper. They are only 11 x 9 x 3 so they don't take up too much space.

Hope this helps.

PS, which bracket are you going to use to hold the headunit? The truck bracket I'm guessing?

Re: i didn't want to say it!!!

Sounds like a great project. Just don't compromise on your cooling systems! Coolant and engine oil

With the additional tubing in the engine compartment, you might loose some airflow potential behind the radiator.

Re: i didn't want to say it!!!

i didn;t want to start this project tread because theres quite of bit of work being done. The funny thing is i was goinf to just drop a ls1 in it.But,i turned out to be a whole lot of stuff more, performance goodies here and there and I coould not past on teh charger,It only has 500 miles. So I can't wait to get this baby on the road and tehn I am going to paint it with hopefully a lot of graphics,etc......
