Re: Heater Control Vacuum

so..that wont mess anything up? idk how vacuum really works, especially with this round ball reservoir... but having that round ball thats for the heater controls connected to the same line as the brake booster wont do anything to the break booster?

Re: Heater Control Vacuum

if you dont want to "T" into the booster line you could always drill a hole and ass a fitting to the backside of the intake

Re: Heater Control Vacuum

look around the throttle body.. there should be a couple. Also look under the big line to the brake booster, is there another smaller nipple? near your MAP sensor? (speed density sensor)

Yup. As long as it's not the coolant line~ There is an in/out (w lines) off the tb for coolant.

Re: Heater Control Vacuum

This one is for the heater control right? Its connects to the round canister ball?

What are these two for then? The one coming out of the wall and the other one goes into the bundle of wires.

Re: Heater Control Vacuum

where does the hose in the top picture lead to ? it doesn't look familure as it's been over 3 years since I took my truck apart and it isn't on my truck now
the bottom picture has the heater control hose (small hose on left coming out of harness) it should connect to a check valve with a tee that looks like this, the check valve is probably still hooked to the old motor

the black side of the valve goes to the intake (the bigger line) the other two go to the line you are holding and the ball shaped resevior
the larger hose to the right is the windshield washer hose it goes to the washer pump mounted on the tank

Re: Heater Control Vacuum

The one in the top picture leads into the firewall just under the break booster. And yea i did find out that the line coming from the firewall in the 2nd is for the windshield hose. I have a check valve that i just bought but its only got 2 lines on it. Ill have to go buy one sounds like it

The line in the first picture was hooked up to the cruise control vacuum thing
