Harness Plug Q

Check these pictures out

Is this the Oil Pressure (Round Plug with Yellow)? My wiring harness has Oil Pressure but it does
not fit this plug. Can i buy a plug that will go there and fit into the wiring harness?

Also dont have a plug on the harness for this on the side of the LS2 oil pan. Do i need it?

Re: Harness Plug Q

the plug on your harness is for the old tall black plastic oil pressure sensors, it has one wire right? Tan?

The sensor on your engine is the newer style.

Go to the part store and say you need an OPSU for a 2001 silverado 5.3, I had the same problem you did.

Re: Harness Plug Q

I thought my truck had a low oil light... Maybe it's my wife's Trailblazer that I saw it in. ( not that it has ever turned though... Haha )
