got some questions about fuel and wiring

My truck is a flex fuel truck that came with no motor or trans. The stock tank looks different than a normal non flex truck so i was wondering if i can put the flex pump in a 'normal' tank? Next question, my wiring harness was all fuked up cause who ever pulled the motor didnt wanna do it right so they cut a bunch of stuff. .So what all does the CP wiring harness replace? Or what do i need to keep i should say. . .It had a weird smog pump and wires i pulled as well. . Can someone tell me what parts of my stock harness i need to hang on to? thanks a million.

Re: got some questions about fuel and wiring

Jareds harness completely replaces the engine harness from the fuse/relay box. Its the middle plug on the bottom of the box. The other two plugs and existing harness control all the body controls (lights, horn, wipers, abs ect.)

not sure about the flex fuel stuff, but these guys are right about jarred's harness. replaces the entire engine wiring system from fuse box to computer to trans, to engine.
