GM Performance Oil Pan
May be old news but did anyone see this. Its a LS oil pan for circle track cars. Looks alot slimmer than all the others. May not work just throwing it out there :-) 8 quart capacity. Part# 19172376 Not sure its available yet but its on page 290 of the 2008 book. I just downloaded it.

There is a pan manufacturer in my town (Champ Pans) they have a few pans available for the LS engines. I'll run down there one of these days and see if I can get some pics of them.

i dont think that pan will work either i think the deeper section goes to far to the front to be able to avoid and cutting of xmemeber...this is my guessing though

yeah that sump is WAY to long, i doubt seriously that it would work in a s10/lsx best bet is stick with a proven truck pan and notch, or go for a alpha pan
