I'm going to say around 370~380. I really hope this hold true since we have basically the same set-ups with about the same mods.

Re: getting my dynotune...what kind of numbers??

im hoping for 400. my buddy has very similar mods, minus the ud pulley, flywheel, and a little smaller cam and he put down 395hp 380tq on the same dyno so we will see what happens (that was with a 01 SS camaro)

I'm interested in hearing about what kind of gas mileage you get on your trip with the 3.08's and a T56.

With that gear ratio you might get better mileage in 5th gear.

Re: getting my dynotune...what kind of numbers??

maybe after your tune you will see an increase in MPG... I have been averaging 21mpg with my combo with the 3.73 and about 50/50 city, highway driving.

Re: getting my dynotune...what kind of numbers??

well i had some problems. tuned, then dyno'd. best pull was 365 at the rear wheels. tuners was confused. we did abour 4 more pulls with no change. went out for a final drive and i heard a weird whistling sound. we put smoke to the motor and found out that i have 3 intake leaks.... anywho, i fixed all 3 leaks tonight, installing new intake gaskets tomorrow and taking it back for a new tune.

my old ta dyno'd at 406 rwhp with a similar setup in march so were hoping for that in the morning. hopefully better numbers to come.............

A/F was at 12.4 but theres a big spike in the A/F at the beginning of the run where it spikes off the chart. I will try to post the dynograph later on today

Re: getting my dynotune...what kind of numbers??

Id lean that baby out a bit, almost every LS based engine I have dynoed likes it at 13-13.2:1. I easily gained 15-17fwhp just adjusting the stock a/f ratio from 12.1:1 to 13.2:1

Re: getting my dynotune...what kind of numbers??

well, my tuner decided he doesnt want to answer his phone or show up so i got to drive 30 min, and sit for 2 hours, then drive 30min home... im not happy. fixing the intake leaks helped quite a bit! i can feel a difference so it must have really been screwing that up.

What body style do you have? Transmission? Rear gear? Average fuel mileage?

I have an '02 Xtreme X-cab, 4L60, 3.42. I'm still trying to decide between a 5.3 or 6.0 (LQ4). I can't afford an LS2, but I've found a few aluminum 5.3s that I can afford. I'll deal with the extra weight of the iron 6.0 for the extra power if the fuel economy is acceptable with a good tune.

Re: getting my dynotune...what kind of numbers??

im runnin the 4.3 rad. truck always runs about 200 whenever on the road. sitting in traffic it will sometimes get up to 210 and one fan will kick on. My second fan never runs so thats a good thing. If i was running A/C it would be a different story though.
