Gauges

Does anyone know if the stock gauges from a ls1 camaro fit into a 98 sonoma. Wiring is no problem. can always redo that if need be.

Re: Gauges

I'm basically just looking for a speedo that shows 120mph + i've been looking at the 03 tahoes cluster, looks a little more feasible

Re: Gauges

I think it is a 2 5/8 gauge. but I just want to see how fast this 5.3 will go. Hitting a 100 and watching it stop sucks.

Re: Gauges

The bravada gauge goes to 120mph but the tach is still 6K. It sure would be nice to find a 7k tach and 120mph gauge cluster.

Re: Gauges

this topic has been beaten to death, pretty much we're stuck with the gauges we got. someone around here though was trying to get the TBSS cluster to work, i dont think that worked out IIRC.

only other option would be completely aftermarket gauges

Re: Gauges

even if you use the bravda gauge do you have to recalibrate?

Re: Gauges

i dont think your going to find a factory guage unless it came from a vette or fbody that revs to 7 k ,

to much work to glass in a stock guage , get a autometer set ,

No, most GM gauges use the same pulse rate for the speedometer.
The only issue you might run in to is if you switch the cluster from another platform is to get the class 2 data buss to send the correct info

Re: Gauges

i dont think you can just put in a camaro/trans am guages into a s10 cluster. the clusters are way to integrated to try to swap a speedo or tach. you can try it. $50 if you want a cluster froma F-body, i've got about 6-7 of them

Re: Gauges
