Double checking fuel lines

Wanting to double check some parts/numbers for the misc fuel fittings I need.

I am running the filter/regulator from badblackx thread, part #10299146.

My truck is a 03 with the flex type filter already (two in line, one out), so the pump-filter lines should just clip into the new filter right?

And for the filter-engine side, I am needing the aeromotive part #15104

And Russel fitting #640850

Do I have this right? And why couldn't I just use two of the aeromotive fittings, on on the filter and one on the fuel rail, and just run a line between them?

Re: Double checking fuel lines

Okay after realizing my idea made no sense and wouldn't work lol, I think all I need is two of the aeromotive fittings and a few feet of hose to go between them. One on the filter and one on the fuel rail, and my factory lines will clip into the other side of the filter (two from tank).

Right?
