Re: Ding Ding Ding Ding... Come And Get It!!!!

Those are kind of a 2nd prototype using the pre-bent tubes, and making a few changes. That's what the welds are for.
The final product should have a few less welds, but that is pretty much what they are going to be... the collector will probably change as well. That collector was just for fitment. The final ones will be a bit shorter.

Don't thank me yet... still have some work to do before we can say for certain when they will be ready, then we have to figure out pricing.
From the looks of things, we are still thinking around $750 uncoated.
1-3/4" 14 Gauge steel with 3/8" thick flange, and 3" collectors with O2 bungs.

PRICING!!! 750!!!! have you looked at F-Body longtubes lately? you would be hardpressed to find the same product/quality for less or even close to that price! kooks are going to run in the 850-900 range, QTP- 800, hooker - 850. not to mention these are a specialty item, not going to sell them everyday like fbody LT's. 800-900 ceramic coated longtubes are a great price

That price is more then reasonable for the product your offering.

No, no plans for stainless... unless someone really wanted to pay for stainless. That'd be over $1k easily.

I am trying to finish up the instructions now.
Pretty simple... remove old radiator, cut out the horizontal piece of sheet metal in the core support, drill 2 holes in the lower section of the support, move the rubber mounts from the original radiator to those new holes, and install new radiator.

If the Condenser is being used, cut the hood support latch using the new bracket piece as a guide, drill 3 holrs, bolt the new piece on, and re-install.

Re: Ding Ding Ding Ding... Come And Get It!!!!

How about the headers? Can u install them with the engine bolted in place? How about with the engine out is there enough room to install the engine a headers bolted up?

Re: Ding Ding Ding Ding... Come And Get It!!!!

The headers are WAAYY too tight being 1-3/4" tubes to put in or take out with the engine still bolted in.
They will have to be laid in place while the engine is lowered in. Then bolt the headers on after the engine is put down.
