carbed to lsx swappers

anyone here go from carbed to lsx??

trucks a 96 had a 2.2l. all the fuel injection was removed..

truck had abs deleted and has aftermarket gauges, and no ac..

1-for the lsx should i use the stock 2.2l gas tank with the corvette filter?(easist way??)

i plan on using the cpw mounts/headers, and maybe harness

2-now having the 5.3l computer do i need the 2.2l as well or??

3-and on the cpw harness which wires go into the interior?(mines all cut/removed) im guessing for gauges and abs and obd ect??

reason why theres a 06 5.3/4l60e with comp/harness ect for 500$ 80kmiles.. and my 350 blew soooo thanks for any help

Re: carbed to lsx swappers

1-I'm using the Stock gas tank, you will need to up-size your fuel lines and figure out a fuel pump. Many choices so little time...i.e. external vs. internal

2-From what I understand the 5.3 computer will now control all aspects of engine and trans...

3-If your using after market gauges I dont think it will be to hard to tie them into the existing senders/CPW harness. Sourcing connectors to make it look factory and truely be a plug and play is going to be the hard part. The biggest attribute to a CPW harness is this factor.

Hope this helps and you should really cruise through all of the Stickies at the top of this forum. I'd did and it helped me figure out my combo and keep a clear idea of what I need to do. There's alot of usefull info.
