C5 alternator question

what year alternator do i need for the C5 alternator bracket?

are all of them the same? my local napa store said a car with a manual would have a different alternator than a car wilth an auto.

i would guess that any c5/c6 alt would fit since the bracket is the same from 97+ as far as i know (except for maybe the LS9), wiring may change between the years though

one of them has a clutched pulley so when the engine speed drops, the alt keeps spinning and the engine doesn't have slow the mass of the rotating alt down. I cant remember which model it went on, but it's a nice thing to have, its not necessary though.

Are the 05+ truck alternators different than the C6 alternators...All the pics I've pulled up they look very similar..like the mounting points are the same and it would just be the bracket that spaced it out..I'd really like a alternators like this one though:
