Nice, but i have never seen an LS1 made for a carb. How much did it cost to build the motor?

3.4blazerdude , That is an GMPP single plane intake manifold made for the ls1 . And for pricing when i think about how much i spend i want to so you know it aint cheap .
Blackls1 , it is an carb manifold but it has bosses to drill to put injectors . It doesn't even need to weld bungs . I already have ACCEL DFI gen7 with 75 lb/hr injectors and 3 bar map so i'm defenatly not going carb

Ummmmm... I don't get it...
What exactly are you trying to achieve when this thing is done?
It won't make much of a daily driver, and I can't imagine getting much more than laughed at out at the weekend street races for the amount of work/money you are dumping in to that truck. I bet someone with a strongly built ZO6 will hand you your ass stoplight to stoplight simply due to traction.
As for the track, it just seems like the same power results could have been gotten at a much more reasonable price.

I have seen 650hp LS1 V8 swaps with Fuel injection, and they are daily drivers, A/C, nice interior... the works. Even those aren't good for much more than show and dyno numbers, cause once you really start trying to get traction (i.e. 4 link and tubbed) any enjoyable streetability is gone.

Well , the plans are to put wheel tube in the back and an complete ladder bar setup with 9 inch ford rear and i could fit tires like 12.5-15.5 inch width . I don't think i am gonna have traction problems with that . And for daily driver , this isn't . It is still gonna be a street truck and it should run nicely on pump gas with up to 7 psi boost . At the track it will have 13-15 psi and with these heads and intake it should make more then 725 rwhp easy . Its gonna have a build th400 .

I take it that you used a 6.0 truck block for that motor? Looks good. Kinda funny seeing an LS1 motor with a carb manifold though.

Wow! Those are some awesome numbers, especially on the exhaust side. Where were the peak flow numbers achieved? .650 or .700?

Re: Ape 408LS1 arived , pics inside .

Here are the flow numbers :
INTAKE CFM EXHAUST CFM
.100" / 74.7 62.6
.200" / 153.2 114.7
.300" / 216.6 163.0
.400" / 264.6 207.4
.500" / 309.6 242.6
..600" / 327.4 261.6
.700" / 328.5 272.1
.800" / 329.1 273.4

my cam would have around .610 lift so and at .600 lift the flow is amazing .

Sure is pretty! May not be the best traction wise, but somehow I doubt you'll get laughed at. At the cruise-in, keep a drool rag handy.

A drip pan may be more useful.

I am suprised you went with a intake like that when you got ones like an LSX intake which can be used with 500+horsepower. Are just trying to be different.

Re: Ape 408LS1 arived , pics inside .

I know i could make some good power with an ls6 heads but i wanted the tb on the side not in the front . Its already tigth in front . I am gonna use a wilson 90 mm TB and elbow pointing to the pasanger side . And These intake with the rigth porting job can flow alot more then the ls6 .
And i want to be diferent too .
