Aluminum 5.3

Would the accessories from this fit when installing or would you need you switch up for LS1 accessories and is this priced too high?

Finding an LS1 isn't so easy.

Thanks

Re: Aluminum 5.3

Several guys have used the truck front end accessories without much difficulty. They exhaust manifolds won't work, so keep in mind that you'll still need either headers or modified 99 F-Body manifolds.

The price is somewhat relative. If you can afford it and don't have time to put something like this together yourself, then it's probably a good deal.

However, if you have the ability and skill to scrounge parts from yards, know what works and what doesn't and know how to pull them together into a working package, then it may be a little expensive.

Shipping is an additional charge over the BIN price.

Depending on what truck you use, their program may not work for you if you want your gauges to work properly.

The oil pan will need to be modified or replaced with either an LS2 C6 pan or one from an Alpha Hummer 5.3.

Not sure about emissions, but their harness is (minus) emissions compliance.

If you can negotiate the motor without the harness, oil pan and exhaust manifolds and get a significant reduction, it might be a better deal for you.
