Re: A little v8 swap vid i made

how much of a cost difference was it for you? Also I really want to use the lsx intake but i cant because off the 5.3 accessories. But what kind of power are looking to put down with your current setup? You did a 4l80e how does that feel on the street? I'm going to run a th400 simple and easy old school mixed with a little new.

I think it is like 1100-1500 dollar difference for all the brackets and accessories for the corvette style. You can still run the lsx intake with some modification. I have a link for the swap on that if you want. You can tell that the 4l80e is a stong transmission. My setup seems a little slow off the line, i dont know if its the trans or my fuel trims being off. Maybe a little of both. I think im putting roughly 300 to ground with my setup.

Re: A little v8 swap vid i made

I just used what came with the motor. I went to the junkyard and got my motor. Here is the link to the intake swap.

Like i said. My fuel trims are off. The computer is dumping 25% more fuel in it for some odd reason. My 4l80e doesnt like high way speeds too much either.

Im working on the action part too. LOL i am going to wait til I put my zexel torsen in before I take it back to the track. Ill post videos of it when its done.
