wiring question

ok i got my avs door kit in today. got everything installed. went to try to program the remote. it says to turn key on and off 5 times and a light should come on. well there is not light that comes on. so im stuck. i have the yellow wire from the brain hooked up to my remote wire on my radio. really need some help!

It comes pre-programmed! No need to program it...Do not hook up the yellow wire to anything...if you DO need to program your remote system take the yellow wire and tap it on 12+ volts 5 times on the 5th time leave it on the 12+volts press the first button on each remote and your done...if you need more help please let me know.
