Question about the AVS Door Actuators

I was about ready to install my door lock actuators and found/realized how nice it would be to have this instead.

Will this kit only work for shaved door handles? I dont plan on shaving mine anytime soon. Id basically just want it to lock/unlock via my alarm remote and also pop the door open if its possible.

Thanks.

For those of you who are not ready to actually weld up the handles, YOU CAN still install our kit and pop open your doors. You will be disconnecting all of the rods from the back of the outer door handle and key cylinder. Then reinstall them so you don't have a big hole in your door. They will be there purely for cosmetic reasons and no longer function. You will also be disconnecting and removing the inside door lock rod. All you need to do is follow our directions that come with the kit then bolt in your handle/key cylinder and you can take your sweet time on welding up the doors. Thanks for the question!
