Not to happy with order Kris

Hey Kris when I got my order the leader hose was 1/4" instead of 3/8". Well I looked over that part since i can just send it back and you'll exchange it for me. But after I completely tore down my truck to install the new tank I ordered from you it ended up having pin hole leaks in it. I dont know what to do about it bc I need my truck up and running for this next week. I could patch it up for temp use but I know that you are going to want me to send it back. Kris this is the first time my order has really upset me. Im not trying to complain but the time I just put into installing the tank to find out its bad is upsetting. Please get back with me asap. I have know worries that we can figure somthing out. Thanks

WOW! Totally sorry for that man! We'll get you out another tank and the right leader hose on Tuesday since Monday's a holiday. Since this is considered a DOA and not a warranty issue we'll take care of all the shipping. We'll put a call tag in the package. Simply you the same box to ship back to us and tape the call tag over the old shipping label and then hand it off to UPS. I understand what a pain in the ass that is to have to take off the plumbing and put back to hopefully one of our new t-shirts and an AVS banner will put a smile back on your face. We get maybe 1 out of every 100 tanks with a leak. Just to make sure we'll leak test your new one before we ship it to you.

im pretty sure its rare to get a jacked up order from avs they are usually awesome about what they do! not dissing AVS at all. I was just shocked. I understand theres always a possibility for things to be faulty. Thanks Jeff for understanding the issue. I first reactioin when i heard it was "o hell no". but i def. appreciate you helping me out. Will there be any problem if i put a little putty plugging stuff on the tank so i can make it to work and back til the weekend and i can fix it.(ill try to fix it as soon as i get the replacement.) Thanks Jeff

If you can get it to hold be my guest. We'll just grind it up and repair it then sell it in our close out section to a customer who knows what he's gettin. Was this a steel or aluminum model?

Its the 9 port 5 gal. steel tank. Do you know if the 3/8 leader hose has a checkvalve?

Wow, I've never seen this happen. I've been trying to track down a leak on my tank for the past couple weeks. I've sprayed every fitting over and over with soapy water with no luck. Maybe I'll hit the tank itself tomorrow. Nice work on the vids Jades. Glad to see AVS is taking care of everything as always.

VERY NICE WORK on the videos! It makes life a whole lot easier for us. We don't have to ask you a million questions debating whether or not you know what you're doing or talking about. It was very clear that the tank was defective. Thanks for being a GREAT customer!

Eh don't feel bad, i had the same thing happen to me with another companies tank, except mine was leakin from around the port.... poo happens. I didn't use to be a big fan of AVS (i really don't have a reason why either) but here lately, you guys are really becoming one of my favs!!!

I havent regreted my orders with AVS. Yea problems happen frome time to time. Its how the company handles the situation that keep me coming back. I Know that if your honest with AVS they will be honest with you and thats why I have trusted them with my orders!!!

How much for the repaired tank? I'll be mounting it under the truck so looks don't matter so much.

Same here, I have never ordered from AVS but this winter when I take my truck off the road for a small makeover AVS is getting the call for a few items. The way they handle any problems that arise and some of the killer products they have is what is calling me towards them.

yea AVS is awesome, Jeff saw in one of my post that my avs box burned up, the pm'd me, told him what happened, and he fixed it for free with out me even asking for it, awesome customer service right there
