Re: New Product!! 4 Channel Remote System With Kick @$$ Remotes

oh baby, i'm about to get one of these. this cheapy crap i got now is annoying me. got the driver's door on the trunk and i gotta hold it for 3 seconds. passenger on the unlock and sometimes i gotta hit lock. if i hit the trunk a bunch of times real quick both doors pop lol.

how slim are these things? and is the slide cover solid? like it won't just slide up and down by gravity. and it looks like it comes with keys for DR/PS doors and remote dump/fill. that's pretty sweet.

The remotes to me seem to be roughly the same thickness as any alarm remote. The slide is solid. I actually tested the first unit a few months ago...the slide wont go up or down by being in your pocket...it is also baby proof for you fathers lol...my niece wasn't able to open it.

is there a way to pop the cover off though? i like just tapping the button while it's in my pocket so i don't have to dig it out when my hands are full.

it should just be one output to the remote dump and one output to the remote fill. i'm assuming you got the arc-9. if you don't have the relay box i'm pretty sure you gonna need additional relays. knowing AVS they will have some pretty good instructions with it. i mean you could control anything on your truck if you wanted.

Those remotes are badass! I'll definitely be saving up for a set! Can I use one channel of this to activate this remote start module? http://avsontheweb.com/product.php?p...cat=130&page=1

if you have a an ARC-9..its super simply...just running the wire from the brain to your relay box and your DONE!

the 7 does require a relay...but Jeff broke it down on the instructions.

Re: New Product!! 4 Channel Remote System With Kick @$$ Remotes

Would it be hard to wire thing to the airride system? I just dont get how it works with no power to the car how would the remote get power to your valves? How hard would it be to wire this all up to the bags if you dont have to much electrical experience I wired the airride myself so Im capable of doing that.

if you don't have the arc-9 switchbox with built in relays your gonna need a relay. the trigger from the remote will trigger the relay and send power to the valves. i'm sure AVS has this included with the instructions or will help you out. if you still need help send me a PM and i can help explain it more.
