License Plate Retractor Input NEEDED!

Hey guys! Jeff the mastermind is working on revamping our retractor. He needs some input from our customers.

Do you want a rocker switch where you control lifting and lowering your plate?

or

Do you want that same rocker switch but have the plate go up and down when you turn the truck on and off? You would still be able to lift and lower when you wanted.

all you gotta do is run the power wire to an acc that turns on and off with the ignition, right?
to make it go up when key is on, down when key is turned off

yup, thats how i plan on wiring my power window motor im using. Turn truck on motor will turn on and raise plate, turn off plate will drop.

i would like one that comes out and flips 90*, so i can sink it in b/t my gate and roll pan on my blazer. or into my roof above my gate glass. been trying to figure away out to do it myself, but dont have the time lol. get working kris

extra actuator to flip the tag up/out from vertical to horizontal?

well it would be smaller then a flip out monitor? their pretty small and they have all the audio components built in to them.

i like the 2nd option too but im not planning on getting on i already have a plate box in my tailgate.

Could you raise and lower it even when the truck was off? I know it doesn't matter, but just wondering.
