LED question

I was lookin at the LED strips you guys offer. I'm definately wantin to run LEDs, jus tryin to figure how i wanna do em.....

I was lookin at the 4.5" ones. I was thinkin bout runnin 6 of em, 3 on each side, upper part of the tailgate, at an angle, like this... | \\\ /// |

I would like to have all 6 come on when i brake and the center one on each side blink when i use the blinker. Would that be possible??? I'm assuming they do turn on and get brighter for the brakes right??? Or are they soley parking lights. If so, nevermind.

The other thing i was thinkin was the same look but havin 2 red and 1 white. But the same concept for the red LEDs.

THANKS!!

Re: LED question

Also, I know the LEDs say "flush mount" but are they the kind that you sand the lens to make them truly flush, where you can paint over them so you can't even tell they are there till they light up???

Re: LED question

We should have these done and ready to ship by the end of next week. You will have some extra lens choices when you order FOR THE SAME OLD PRICE! And yes, you can do everything that you wanted in your post. But, the 4.5" were intended for side marker use because of their size, but we can put a package together for you with the tail light modules to work the way that you want them to. We can do $275 for all six 4.5" lights, choice of lenses, and six modules. And of course... FREE SHIPPING!

Yes, ours are TRUE FLUSH MOUNT lenses. They are separate from the light housing. Other companies say that theirs our flush mount and all they are are one-piece 3rd brake lights from rear spoilers.

Re: LED question

Those are bad ass. I don't see a lens like this though, i would like this better for what i'm thinkin.... /____/ the same angle on both side of the LED. Cuz then the ends would be level with the ground when i install the LED at an angle

So... for example, i'm drivin at night with my lights on, all 6 LEDs would be on in the back, i want to turn left so i put my blinker on and apply the brakes.... On the right side, all 3 LEDs are bright. And on the left, the outer 2 are constant bright and the middle one is flashing bright???

If so, i'm def gonna have to order these, the new ones are pimp

I'm also wantin to put them in my tailgate and shave the handle but not put a full skin on. Would these fit inside a tailgate thats only 2" thick?? A mazda tailgate.

Sorry for all the questions man, i jus want to know that these can do exactly what i'm wantin, i wanna do LEDs but not be like everybody else and have 2 horizantal bars

Yep! They can be wired to work EXACTLY like that. The only problem is that I didn't notice that you had an import. Since you don't want signals on the inner and outer lights the 3-wire modules will work perfect for that. But for the center lights that will have signals, you will need our 4-wire modules (add+$30).

That's plenty room. They are only about 1" deep.

Re: LED question

And Jeff, onw more question..... Your switchboxs are setup to have the wire comin out the front side of the box when its in your lap right??? Would i jus have to switch the wires around for the front and back, dump and fill to have the wire come out the back???. I prefer it like that.

And a lil thought while i was lookin at boxes. You guys should make a crown box. Like the spike one but with a crown on the side. I want one of those!!

Yup! and Yup! Just read the label on the box but put the wires in starting at the opposite end So for instance the Front/Left up wire wound plug into the Right/Rear dump port etc. And the REMOTE up/dump inputs will be backwards.

You think you da king or somethin??? j/k! I would need a drawing and at least 50 orders to do a custom box. But then 49 other people would have it too.

I've got 2 new BILLET models coming out really soon. One is a flamed box and the other resembles and axe blade. Hopefully should have these done in the next few weeks. We'll post em up for all to see as soon as they are complete and ready to ship.

You mean one long light, right? If so, how long do you want each color? They don't have to be the same lengths.
Basically, you have this to work with:

WHITE = 3", 4.5", 7.5" or 10.5" long sections.
AMBER = 3" or 4.5" long sections.
RED = 7.5", 11" or 15.375" sections. <<<You can even add these together to achieve the your desired length.

Or just tell me what you want and I'll tell you how close I can get for you.
