ok but you have your profile set to private..just keep in mind where the rest of the world stands, if i owned a company with a reputation like that i would be looking for some one with a little more of a reputation than you. not saying anything to discredit or disrespect you at all.

Re: AVS slammed by AIM in new MT

Well I guess Joe will be sending me products for Review, this shal be interesting.

He wants to 'talk' with me first over the Phone. I hate the phone because there is no hard proof. I like things on paper.

Also I have talked to him in the past a few times lol He must not remember.

I wish I had more time to deal with all of this haha. Way to much going on right now, this is the last thing I need haha.

Re: AVS slammed by AIM in new MT

CB: I will say it. You are the "marketing guru" and should know marketing does not involve pictures/banners to be an ad. You stated previously that there were no banners, but that does not mean it is still not viral marketing. BUT that would mean dragging the thread back into the idiocy you failed to understand. Care to take it up then take it up in the other thread and leave this one alone or say goodbye.

Tell him straight up, there are rumors going around that you change the story half way through, so i want to have a hard copy of all communication, so he can put that out of the question, tell him to feel free to do the same.

Damn, I'm gone for a couple days and miss a lot of shit.

For anyone that wants to know Joe has another new one page ad in this months Truckin' It's all about different companies valves.

There's a lot of comments in the ad I could reference, but this one is probably the dumbest:

AVS is an audio/stereo company and knows nothing about air suspension ... and charges too much for nothing

Funny, Joe says that they're an audio/stereo company, yet when I look at their site (it's even called airbagparts.com fer cryin' out loud), I don't see anything audio/stereo related, but a shitload of air suspension parts... What a fuckin maroon

well i guess if your company name is audio video something, then that means that you know nothing about air suspension

Im not one of his employes or a freind im just a random guy who sent joe an email after seeing the SSM and S10forum threads.. I was asking him about his control arms, and then some how i had an idea to make a site to review his products to show pepole how good/bad they are.. i dont know why he posted my whole name up or personal email.. i like to keep my personal stuff private.. as you can see if u do a whois lookup its private.. im not on AIM's side or anyone elses side, my truck has AIM, AVS, SD, Cando, parts.. The site is up but not very content rich at this time, i need to purchase some products from them so i can start doing test and reviews on them. All of my reviews will be 100% honest, and include some test with full vid's and pictures. If you guys got any questions just reply back here or emial me at contact@reviewsforaim.com
mod's if posting the site name is a no then please edit my post and remove, thanks

Not trying to cause a problem here, but I made the unfortunate mistake of purchasing AIM lowering contol, anyway I went to your site and read the review on the S-10 lowering control arms, you state the welds ate TIG welded (Tungsten Inert Gas welds) well I have to say that is incorrect the arms I received are MIG welded as there is areas where the wire is still on the weld and tons of splatter on the parent metal, I am a certified welding inspector through several authorities AWS, CWB, ASME etc...and have been certified as a welder in several processes: SMAW, MIG and TIG and trust me I know a TIG weld when I see it. As for the rest I cannot comment as I have never seen the S-10 arms, but the Dakota Arms I purchased are definately not TIG welded, and the welds look exactly like the S-10 arms you reviewed as far as the welding is concerned. And personally I would have rejected these parts for the welds, cold lap specifically.

reviewsforaim.com is a joke.

He works for AIM. They give him free parts and he writes fake reviews. He's not a customer.

Makes sense, cause the review sounds good and nothing like I would have written if asked to review the parts I received.
Is there an actual unbiased site that reviews such parts?

Yes this one. Just search you won't find info on every product, but people will have input on the popular ones.
