Re: AVS slammed by AIM in new MT

In my opinion....what its coming down to has nothing to do with product quality....its about a single induvidual proving to the whole world that he cant handle competition....he needs to learn that the whole "scene" will never revolve around him and the fact that its not even about the product truth, its all about the way he is handling the situation is starting to get at him....yet another last resort comes in play...if you cant win....sue......the comments places on each and every forum are part of discussion....thats why there is such thing as forums....freedom of speech for the induviduals on each and every forum will protect them....and as for the rules against "bashing".....its completely up to the forum moderators what is put on every forum...and to me its really not bashing.....more of a customer opinion on product and service....There are no rules when it comes to opinion s on how things are handled by a company!!!!!!! Mini Truckers UNITE!

Any word on those shirts?...lol...everybody needs to take a pic of them in these things showing your complete support for a great company~!!!!!!!!!!

All opinions expressed are that of the forum member and do not reflect the direct opinion of the kick ass company. Any letters regarding the opinions will be burnt and then pissed on. (just coverin my ass).....lol

Hello John,

I have a situation that has been going on for years on the forums.

There is a forum called: www.s10forum.com and www.fullsizechevy.com

They have disclaimers on their sites against bashing, but they close their eyes to it. I have been continually damaged for years and it is by the same guys going back over 10 years posting mindless nonsense.

I realize that suing the posting person may not be pursuing assets, but the forums are accumulating assets.

I feel I have been damaged for several millions of dollars over the past 10 years, and I can prove they are libelous and false.

I am researching all of the libelous links throughout today and I will be providing them to you. There will be hundreds showing a pattern.

I want to send a letter first, then sue them if they do not: At the very least, they will have been put on notice that we will not tolerate unfounded libelous postings. I am not against giving them an opportunity to prove they do not condone this behaviour. But if they do not make it right, lets file a lawsuit for Millions in damages.

RETRACT

and MONITOR POSTINGS against us that are harmful lies

When can I get with you?

Sooner the better. 2 postings are attached. The first one is fullsizechevy, the 2nd is s10forum.

The rules for fullsizechevy.com are: http://www.fullsizechevy.com/rules/

The admin contacts are:

Re: AVS slammed by AIM in new MT

The Right to Freedom of Speech
Freedom of speech, or the Freedom of expression is recognised in international and regional human rights law. The right is enshrined in Article 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights, Article 13 of the American Convention on Human Rights, and Article 9 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights.[9] Based on John Stuart Millarguments, freedom of speech today is understood as a multi-faceted right that includes not only the right to express, or disseminate, information and ideas, but three further distinct aspects:
  • The right to seek information and ideas;
  • the right to receive information and ideas;
  • the right to impart information and ideas.[9]
International, regional and national standards also recognise that freedom of speech, as the freedom of expression, includes any medium, be it orally, in written, in print, through the Internet or through art forms. This means that the protection of freedom of speech as a right includes not only the content, but also the means of expression. This is particularly important for media or press, which plays a special role as the bearer of the general right to freedom of expression for all

Re: AVS slammed by AIM in new MT

What an idiot. You cannot sue somebody for voicing their opinion on service or product.

If he wants to sue, then AVS, Airlift, and everyone else can sue HIM for his stupid pointless idiot bullshit ads in the magazines.

An idividual stating on a forum that I think his company and his services suck, is no different then me walking up to him on the street and saying hey, your joe morrow, I think your company is pathetic. This would not even remotely stand up in a court of law.

Re: AVS slammed by AIM in new MT

I don't lie about mine either. I said that I bought 2 sets of their SS style mirrors and I like them other than that the passengers side has a little too much convex to it, it doesn't bother me though. (I would just buy AVS's SS style mirrors if I had to do it over again though.) But the one triangulated 3 link I installed and didn't know at the time it was from AIM, had to have been the worst designed thing ever......it was bad....I don't want to have to ever do something like that again...

Yes. SSM is for sale to the right person...OR kris needs a partner. He is an excellent coder and behind the scenes guy, which was such his role when garrick was there. They split and he took it over. So he either would like to sell or get a partner.

Wow.... I don't think I've ever seen any company directly bash AIM in there ad's. People may have in forums, but for the most part they're just consumers trying to help the other consumers, so other people that don't know, wont get burned and find out the hard way.

Re: AVS slammed by AIM in new MT

oh ,here, Ill post it here as well

I dont think theres much you can do, besides send me a 100% duty cycle compressor, pressure switch, circuit breaker, relay, a few 3-way valves, some Sport Mirrors for a 93 S-10 Blazer and some airlines for my project that I got screwed on before. I'll chaulk up the airbar, fittings, rebuild kits and extra shipping as a learning experience. Thats about the only products from your company I might deal with, stuff that my life doesnt depend on! I'd love a lowering kit for my 04 Silverado, but I dont wanna trust your products on my daily ride, like most of the knowledgeable internet having free world.
BTW, thought you would like to see this and yes its all under the freedom of speach sections of your local and national laws and constitution!

Heres my address below if you would like the moderator of a few internet sites, a MECP Advanced certifed installer, and an avid truck builder to install and compare the shAIM of old with this newer AIM. If your products are all that you claim them to be, lots of people will find out and know and you might get a little back with the internet crowd. Hell Id maybe even put a sticker on my ride(s) and mention your company in one or all of the dozen or sites Im on just about everyday. Until the products arrive, I only have past expereinces to go by. Also at that point we can talk about lowering my extended cab Silverado with your stuff.
