ARC-9 switches going bad

I picked up this box from a member on here and when I got it, 3 of the switches stuck down like it had soda spilled on it then over time it turned into sludge. I had pm'd Kris a while back and was told I could send it in but it was on my DD so I couldn't. Picked up some rocker switches on ebay and soldered them in myself but a couple months later those are acting up along with 1 or 2 of the original rockers. If pressed all the way down, they do nothing, but if I slowly press the rocker at a certain point the contacts engage inside the switch, but any farther down, the switch doesnt work. What am I looking at price wise to send it in (getting motor swap so I can send it in now) and have all the switches replaced?

I would need to see what condition the box is in to give you a price. Switches run about 3-6 bucks each. Just send it in and I'll have them do an evaluation before they work on it. Then I can let you know what the cost will be.

Re: ARC-9 switches going bad

If you do this yourself. It will void the warranty.
Switches run $3 each for 3 prong and $5 each for the 6 prong. I will take care of the shipping for you, if you go this route.

i've already replaced 3 myself so it looks like i'm outa luck on a warranty so i'll probably be calling in an order for some switches soon. Do you know the specs on the diodes in between a few of the switches? The wires attached to those are fragile and i'm just gunna pull those and the switches out and replace them.

Re: ARC-9 switches going bad

The diodes are already built in to the circuit boards. So I don't know the exact specs on them. I would try taking one in to RadioShack or something like that.
