arc-9 problem

I've got a corroded/dead circuit underneath the relays in the brain.
Can I get a new board/relays only sent out or do I have to buy a whole unit? I only got about a month of usage out of it last year but I guess it sucked up
some moisture over winter.

I needed it yesterday so I have an electronics guy jumping the cacked circuit for me for now, but the board still looks
untrustworthy imo.

Another q.. Do you have connectors for 15mm danz valves? I need a couple n a spare

Shoot me a pm with pricing n I'll hit ya back with my info.

Thanks!

Re: arc-9 problem

Turns out with a little more playing the solder connections on the top side of the board that had to be soldered from underneath due to the connector in the way are corroded out... it'll be re-soldered tonight and see what happens.

Re: arc-9 problem

Your best bet is to send it in to me and let my guy repair it.

Re: arc-9 problem

I was quite disappointed with the way this played out... really goes to show which companies will actually go that extra mile and be concerned about an issue.

I don't know what you didn't get about I'm not trusting my life, or my truck on a water damaged board... somehow comprehension was lost there multiple times with "send it in so we can repair it". I guess the same goes for a one week time limit before a show that nobody even acknowldged.. in writing or on the phone.

I had the board you pretty much refused to do anything productive about hardwired top to bottom and varnished in time for what was needed. It works great now... and whaddya know.. you lost a custy with a big mouth that plays with a lotta trucks. Worth it still over a board I was willing to buy anyways?

Thanks.. lol

Re: arc-9 problem

"SWITCHBOX

I can not sell just the parts for my switchboxes, for various reasons. You will need to send it in to me for repair. I wont know what it will cost until I see what is actually needed to be done to the parts.

Also, 1/2" Danz valves are $45 each and USPS shipping would probably be the cheapest to you. Also I believe that UPS charges a higher customs fee too."

That is exactly what I wrote you back. I don't understand why you never responded to me. Just because I said we will repair your box, doesn't mean we will use all your same parts. If your circuit board was fried, then we replace them 100% of the time. Sorry if you were upset with our policy for not selling parts only.

I didn't reply bc your answer was useless...count it out.. 5th time now... CONNECTORS NOT VALVES!!!!!!!!!
Did I really need to send a rusty board that my I and my electronics guy both said were dead? I have a limited electrical ticket to 600v I'm not retarded.

Why not this... I'll send you a pic of my now hotwired board up close, and you can send me a whole new unit. That shows CLEARLY what the friggen issue was, and I won't be put out any more than I have and can make my upcoming shows.

Or, you can do what I suggested the first time. And send me your entire unit, not just the board, and we will repair it.

I'm sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear, but that's our policy. We DO NOT send replacement parts out of our switchboxes and we DO NOT replace a box with out having the original complete unit in our hands first.

Lets us know if this is gonna work for you...

Re: arc-9 problem

I'll wait till the season is done and you'll have it then.
Chop the wires off and you'll find 2 dead traces on the top side of the board under the relays.`

Who is your main contact at Danz or whatever china company they come from? I'd like their info pm'd to me if possible. Obviously I'm not going to get any valve electrical connectors out of you guys so I'll go to the source.

Re: arc-9 problem

The source does not sell them separately, Which is also why we do not sell them separately.
