anyone ever find a fix to the 12chan door poppers?

i have been having a problem with my 12chan door poppers for sometime now. i think i posted about it awhile ago, or read another post, and saw other people having the same problems im having. the problem is that sometimes they work and sometimes they dont. it seems to be once the battery voltage drops below a specific point the brain locks up and you need to pull the fuse to reset it.

just the other day my compressors kicked on during the night (i dont have them wired to the ignition but to a toggle switch) and in the morning the doors wouldnt open, leading me back to the voltage problem. so i get in, start the truck and head to work (30min drive) once there i pull the fuse, wait 10sec and put it back but the doors still wouldnt open. so i left the fuse out and went to work. put the fuse in after work and still nothing so i started it and pulled the fuse, put it back and got nothing. i figured with it started it should have plenty of voltage... a few days of this went by and magically yesterday it worked.

i checked the wires and they all seem to make contact, wiggling them made no difference. on a side note, what exactly is the ignition wire for? what does it do?

Mine have always done this as well. I keep having to unplug the harness from the brain to make it work again. I'm almost thinking of putting a switch in line that I can access from the outside to reset it.

ive thought about the same thing, but you might as well just wire up a switch directly to the door popper and kick the door open. ya know?

Well first things first, you would need to wire the pressure switch to the ignition so that only works when you turn the car on. The ignition is there for programming, check your ground, move the ground if possible. Hopefully this helps you out

i dont see how the pressure switch would cause this unless the comps drain the voltage... in either case others have the same problem. ill check the connections, again, and see about getting a new ground
