Re: Upper control arms...
You need to file out the hole some for them to fit. I used a carbide tool on the end of a dremel and it made quick work of this. Just make sure to test fit often. Don't want to remove too much!

Re: Upper control arms...
Alright i got them to work... i used a thin grinder and grinded the inside edges of the ball joints, being careful as hell not to hit any of the rubber grommets of the ball joint and they fit in there nice and snug... then had to drill a couple new holes for bolts in the control arms and they work and look strong as hell.
Whats funny is the nuts and bolts that come with the extreme ball joints from power performance are weak as hell... i ruined the threads in no time on like 4 out of 8 of the bolts... and even broke one... the bolts and lock nuts that come with the ART ball joints are really heavy duty and work hell of a lot better... funny how that works out. |

Re: Upper control arms...
When i took my upper ball joints out that came with the ART arms, one had already looked pretty bad and thats just after bolting it down and moving the arms up and down lol.

Re: Upper control arms...
Guess the suicide doors control arms will be more appealing to people since they will be cheaper, and come with the correct ball joints.
