trouble with my bags going down on left front corner

trouble with my bags going down on left front corner

Last night i tried laying out my truck and my front left wouldnt drop only go up.i checked wiring and it all was plugged in all i get is a clicking noise when i trying dropping. but before it started doing that my bags wouldnt go up on that same corner until i messed with the lever under neath . then all of a sudden it acts up. i think the wiring is connected how its suppose to any other ideas?

Sounds to me like you have a bad solenoid, Has it worked before? The reason I ask is if it was working before then I'd say that your wiring is correct, be sure you have power going to the valve, just cause you hear it click doesn't mean that it's getting the correct voltage to opperate correctly.


What is this "lever" you're talking about?

sounds like a gummed up valve, I had the same symptons on my cutlass

i figured it out and its the box that hooks up to the switch box underneath the seat.. does it have to be the same one and how much they run for. and is there a specific name for it.

wtf? I just wire mine to the switches directly. Than again I hate switchboxes. I'd rather just hide my switches.

If you want more help you might want to tell us what kind of switch box you are running?

make sure theres good power source and ground to the box.

fixed just got a new switch box from AVS . good deal with lifetime warranty
