Re: S10 Front Bag Kits
RE7 slam bags will fit but will require heavy trimming of the coil spring pocket and by heavy I mean alot the RE6 will work just fine and require minor trimming but make sure with these air springs that you limit the travel with a shock regardless of what any one says you need to run shocks...
I have seen Slam Specialties air springs fail prematurely and also cause ball joint failure from over extension...... |

Re: S10 Front Bag Kits
I have seen these bags pull them selves apart and cause ball joints to fail due to over extension. literally pulling the suspension apart and putting way to much stress on the ball joints from over extension..

Re: S10 Front Bag Kits
off the side of the frame behind the control arm... if you are comfortable with the ride you can always use limiting straps but ideally I would recommend shocks

Re: S10 Front Bag Kits
ok, question... your bolton shock mounts... how much will these limit the turning radius with a 8" wide rim? fyi my tire rubs the frame at full lock as it sits right now..

Re: S10 Front Bag Kits
its hard to say with out knowing the exact back spacing roughly 15-25%, on my dime I didnt notice it that much I was running until I would make a U turn they turned into 3 point turns

Re: S10 Front Bag Kits
I have 8" wide wheels with 4.5" basckspacing, and this quote hits the nail on the head. You won't notice it until you turn from lock to lock (u-turns). |
