Ride Pro e2: Problems with pressure gauge sensors?

Ok, I aqquired this blazer with the ride pro e2 system installed. I personally like the system, easy to use (for the wife), keeps under the truck clean, and overall a nice system. The tank pressure gauge was showing a constant 167 lbs so the compressor was never kicking on, I unplugged it and it work so I just leave it unplugged and bypassed it with a switch temporarly. I've noticed lately whenever I set the pressure in the morning or whenever (after I air it out to lay out) I'll put it to lets say 60 lbs but in a few mins. it goes lower like to 40. Just seems like the pressure sensor aren't up to par. Is this a common problem or should I look into something? Just not too familiar with this system to know.
