Re: my setup for my big reds!

Looks great! I wish I had the RideProE2. It came out less than a year after I installed my original RidePro.

Re: my setup for my big reds!

They're loud. Basically maintenence free. Excellent quality. Plus it's from Air Ride Tech, so if any problems ever arose, they'd take care of it. I've had mine in a year now, and have never had any problems. Never had them sticking like SMC or anything.

Talk to Doud (DJD), He's described the ART valves as Bulletproof in design. They really are awesome cause you can keep a super clean install. I have the 1/4" valves when they still sold them (I'm not into speed) and so far I love them. I was just under my truck the other day doing something air management wise and glanced up and them and noticed how clean of an install they were and thought to myself, "Damn, thats clean and easy to trouble shoot if there is a problem.

Re: my setup for my big reds!

no $750.00, from searching i dont think they offer the 1/4'' valves anymore only 3/8'' which are amazing.. They arent "super fast" like smc valves or airlift but they are daily driveable and are easy to control, you wont have to worry about someone snapping something off your truck because they accidently hit a switch..

Re: my setup for my big reds!

We do still offer the 1/4-inch valves (RidePro) as well as the 3/8-inch valves (Big Red).
The RidePro valves are available in two configurations:
1-two billet aluminum 2-way blocks connected together with pipe fittings
2-one billet aluminum 4-way block

The Big Red valves are a modular design. Each billet aluminum block has one inflate and one deflate valve. These blocks can be connected together by stacking them one next to each other. There are long bolts that hold them together, and o-rings that seal block-to-block.

I personally use the Big Reds in my Dime for electronic control system testing. It's easier to slow them down, than it is to speed them up!

Re: my setup for my big reds!

I have the big reds for my truck but they arent installed. I did however come to the conclusion that they are probably gonna be pretty quick filling one corner at a time but if you want to speed them up for 2 bags or all 4 bags at the same time you can seperate them. This way instead of having one air feed line coming into the manifold setup you have independent feeds for each bag therefore your not pulling all your in through just one 1/2 line. This maybe obvious to most but I'm just throwing it out there to people who might not have thought about seperating them.

The newer style Big Reds are made as one piece though. Less chance of them leaking.

It's not the best shot but I have lines coming in on both sides of my block. I'm not sure but wouldn't two 3/8" lines flow the same cfm as one 3/4" line?

Actually....... the Big Reds are still 4 individual blocks that are o-ringed together. The Ride Pro's can be done in both ways, single block of 8 valves or two blocks of 4 valves......

Can the seals be purchased individually? My bigred is leaking between the blocks.
