Lower Balljoint Problem ( strong arms)

To Tony or anyone that have done these, i seem to be having a difficult time installing the boot over the ball joint that is pre pressed into the LCA. Anyone have any tricks to get this sucker in without tearing it??

it does not have to be jambed down into the crevase (spelling) around the ball joint? does the pressure of the spindle against the balljoint hold the grease into it??

I don't get why they even put it on the arm, dosent even function. Makes no sense, other than they won't have to warranty the arm after you cut it off.

Why wouldn't they just put the tab there to begin with? Still makes no sense to me.
