damit!!!!

well i did my tie rod notch yestereday and today i remover the shock mount from the top of my ART arms so i could put it on the bottom. well i went and tried to see how much more tire i could tuck and **** my spindal hit the bottom tube on the ART top control arm. Ill have pics later but basically the spindal at the back of the top ball joint the edge hits the bottom of the tube on the upper ART arm.....i can use any ideas

ummm you are at the limits of the range of the ball joint. Are you running a drop spindle or stocker?

and another question...when i boght them they had stickers on them the uppers i think were backwards cause i couldnt get then to fit nice the way the sticker said but anyways iv driven on them for a year now with no prob till now when i desided to try to lay 20 AND I CANT!!!... so any help would be great tony. Whos drop spindels are you using? honestly man you shouldnt be having a problem we've laid plenty of dimes on 20's with these arms let me know whos spindels you are using and we will get to the bottom of this

the problem is you have the upper control arms mounted up side down. and probably on the wrong sides.

Correct they are mounted upside down and quite posibly on the wrong side, chances are they where labeled correctly. You need to remount them right side up and replace the ball joints.

If the arms are upside down, when you mount them the right way the ball joint would be pointing towards the sky. You'd have to take the ball joint out, flip it, and reinstall the ball joint.

the amount of stress that has been on them may have prematurely worn them down I think it would be a good idea to replace them.

i have belltech drop spindles and stocker arms and nothing hits, I was wondering why he was notching the frame? wow, nice to see someone with an eye on here to catch something mounted wrong. I 100% agree with replacing the ball joints.
