Re: Bolt on kit?

for towing/hauling? laying out? or just getting low???
towing/hauling-the air over leaf load assist kit would work
laying out-roadgrater... but you have to cut a hole in your bed for the notch
getting low-airbar... no cuttin of the frame and still have a full bed uncut.
..........
or airshocks...

but i need more info from ya, to help you out.

I have the road grater in the back of my truck and I have had HVAC equipment in the back.Currently I have about 200Lbs or so of stuff in the rear now, Relocated battery, tools (work and automotive) and some other misc items. No problem at all.

Re: Bolt on kit?

Bed is tubbed and a notch cover. Yes, my 8 gallon tank and valves are underneath. I have had no problems with the sleeve bags, except that with alot of weight I have to add more pressure, which in turns makes it ride alittle rough over some bumps.

Re: Bolt on kit?

all of our rear kits are designed to maintain and even "enhance" factory load carrying capabilities. I cant tell you that it will haul more than the truck was designed for because your brakes, axles ect were only designed for X amount of weight but what I can tell you is that you can load that truck to max capacity and inflate it up so it doesnt sag. I wouldnt use a pair of airshocks to do that.

I agree. LIke I said. I had no a lick of problems with the bags or the kit with any added weight because of it. I would trust the roadgrater kit holding the weight than a monoleaf and block setup any day of the week

Re: Bolt on kit?

Mind you the wiring etc is different now. That was when I removed the bed to clean some things. I have actually been thinking of adding another 8 gallon under there, and 2 viar 450's or so mounted on the side of the frame. (edc now)
