Another Airbar question

Ok. First off, Im still a noob at bagging. Second, I do not plan on laying frame, as my truck is basically an xtreme w/ a full xenon body kit and x stepshavers and stuff. I currently have zq8 leafs and a 4 inch block in the rear on 20's with a 245/35/r20 tire, and my body kits in the rear are about 3-5 inches off the ground. Since the airbar replaces the leaf springs and says it has 8 inches of drop, Theoretically I should have about another 2.5 inches of drop than I have now correct? Also, Will running a bolt in mini notch add for more drop? Or cause problems with other things hitting/binding up such as driveshaft hitting stuff or the rear end bottoming out on the bed floor?

Re: Another Airbar question

you would probably have to cut a little for the 20s..and with a bolt in notch, you driveshaft will probably hit the gastank crossmember..sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt, but most of the time it does lol

start modifying would be the only other route..ive read where a guy on here actually bought a SD raised gastank crossmember and welded his own tabs on it for the wishbone so the driveshaft would clear with a mini notch

Worst comes to worst, I'd have to settle with a link or something, and just make my notch really really small, just enough to lay kit and nothing more for now, and I'd have to pay out the arse to have my bedfloor raised b/c i dont want to lose my flat bed at all, tubs arent really what I want b/c I still haul random stuff from time to time and still want to be able to when I need to since this is a daily, and will be for a long, long time...
