Aluminum Shocks

I just recieved my new shocks today (SHO1615) im very impressed with the overall look and quality of them i just have one question unlike every other shock ive seen/installed these dont extend back to the overall height after being compressed why is that?

It is an oil filled shock with an adjustable rebound appose to the gas charged shocks....if you have any other questions feel free to shoot them on over.

I also notcied they have a external polyurathane cushion on the shaft could this be used as a bump stop for the vechile or is that not recommened

I would not recomend using the shock as a bump stop while driving you would still want about 2" of travel over extending or not enough extension can cause the shock to fail prematurely
