Protocols???

I got a set of protocol door poppers, and installed them, and they worked about 5 or ten times and quit. Jason said I could return them, pay the difference and get the auto locs. What all do I need to return the protocols. I don't have the boxes, or the manual switches anymore. I just have the two solenoids, the remotes, and the computer. Is that enough, or no?

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Protocols???

Get AVS or SPAL. Ive had nothing but bad luck with autoloc in general. Mainly had to do with the "unnamed shops" install, but I wont put them in anything. Ive had AVS for almost 2 years now with 0 problems.

Re: Protocols???

Youll need to get a RMA number from SD to send them back.

Re: Protocols???

both of mine self destructed and rusted out internally. The SPAL solenoids are waterproof, and the AVS ones are as well, even though they are not remote-mounted.

Re: Protocols???

I was under the assumption that Protocol was the off-brand Autoloc, produced by the same company. I thought the AutoLoc's were better quality, but still will never waste my money again.
