Got another idea for you guys
Why not make 2 universal unwelded crossmembers with tabs for the square bar?
One for inside the frame, one for on top of the frame. One with outer tabs like this for inside: http://www.suicidedoors.com/crossmem...arrier-bearing and one with outer tabs like this for on top: http://www.suicidedoors.com/node/603 and with 4 tabs like this, but with square cutouts instead of round [http://www.suicidedoors.com/4-link-p...-link-axle-tab Last edited by Forklift : 09-14-2008 at 12:58 PM. |

Re: Got another idea for you guys
or what about a parallel 4-link like this guy
http://www.suicidedoors.com/4-link-k...lel-4-link-kit for a blazer, being as the springs are on the outside of the frame, but make the brackets to be bolt-on? I dont think it would be that hard to modify your bolt-on axle bracket with an upper mount for the top bar: http://www.suicidedoors.com/4-link-p...e-bracket-pair Then make a bracket that could bolt-in in that "V" above the stock spring perch for the upper bar and the lower bar could just bolt into the stock spring perch. Sorry to keep coming up with these hair brained ideas, but this is what I go to sleep thinking about, weird huh? I did it with stereos from the age of 13 or so, I guess its ADD |
